Proof of this fact... Pictured above, World Record Walleye just caught on Jan. 04, 2005, by Father Mariusz Zajak weighs in at 18.30 lbs. The girth at 22.5 and the length at 36.5.  This Gigantic Walleye was caught while Father was praying Luke 1, 46-55.

Located on the Saskatchewan River portion of Tobin Lake in the Nipawin & District Regional Park, White Rock Outfitters is ideally situated to assist those anglers who want to take advantage of what has been rated the best walleye fishing in North America. We supply bait, tackle, licenses, gas & oil and boat rentals along with many other services to help make your fishing experience better. We can also aid with some fishing tips if you need them. Please see our "Maps" page for more information and a highly informative map of the river fishing.

Many have had high success fishing Tobin with walleye catches reaching a provincial record of 18.06lbs in 1997, so it is no surprise the area is popular with fishing tournaments. The largest of which, the Vanity Cup, offers a prize payoff of over $100,000.00 yearly. These waters also play host to the Ladies Fish for Freedom, a unique tournament that consists of all female anglers. Other popular tournaments include the Nipawin Northern Pike Festival and the Saskatchewan Premier’s Walleye Cup.
